To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Game Gear and 60th Anniversary of SEGA, the company has announced the Game Gear Micro! The original Game Gear launched on October 6th, 1990. Like other classic consoles, it will be a smaller version of its original counterpart with preloaded games. The Game Gear Micro costs 4,980 yen and comes in a variety of colors:
- Black
- Blue
- Red
- Yellow
