In a recent interview with Washington Post, former Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime states how pleased he is with the Switch’s success. Reggie says it’s “gratifying to see” the platform do well with the “tremendous momentum” it has in the market. Here’s an official excerpt from Reggie’s interview in the Washington Post:

“When I retired it was important for me that the company is well positioned, and that it would be able to continue delivering smiles and unique experiences. As an executive who retires, the best thing to see is the company continue to do well as [that executive has] transitioned away from the business, and tremendous momentum the Nintendo Switch has is gratifying to see.”

The Regginator picked a great time to ride into the sunset of his long Nintendo tenure. As always, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
