According to Takashi Mochizuki, Square Enix will not hold an online event this summer to announce new games. This is due to coronavirus causing difficulties in development and the inability to get assets ready for events. Instead, Square Enix will announce games in an individual basis.
Square Enix said it won't hold online event to unveil this FY's new releases around E3's timing because making assets ready for such show has become difficult due to Covid-19. Instead, it will announce new titles on individual basis.
