Nintendo reported tonight in their quarterly earnings release that Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield have sold through 17.37 Million units as of March 31st, 2020. This makes Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield the 5th best selling Switch title, which is quite astounding considering the sales number is November 15th, 2019 – March 31st, 2020. Sword & Shield have also surpassed the lifetime sales of Pokémon X & Y (16.45 Million units sold) and Pokémon Sun & Moon (16.18 Million units sold).
