WWE 2K21 has been officially cancelled following WWE’s first quarter earnings call

WWE and 2K have announced that WWE 2K21 has been cancelled. This doesn’t come as a surprise considering turmoil through the series’ past few entries. Former WWE 2K series developer Yukes left the series to pursue their own wrestling game as well, affecting the timeline for yearly WWE 2K releases. Visual Concepts took over as the series developer and released WWE 2K20, although the release was filled with game-breaking bugs. It seems that its finally time for WWE 2K to take a break for a year.
