Game Freak and The Pokémon Company have officially unveiled the new mythical Pokémon to be featured in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. It’ll also be a main focus in the new Pokémon movie, Pokémon the Movie: Coco. A “rogue monkey” Pokémon, Zarude is a dark/grass type which is a typing we don’t see too many of.
It’s still unconfirmed when exactly Zarude will be available to obtain in game, but chances are players will see it show up during one of the two DLC expansions, Isle of Armor coming sometime in June or Crown Tundra coming sometime in November. The expansion containing both can be pre-purchased on the Nintendo eshop right now.
