Ever since it released on Android devices last year, Project xCloud has been a major hit among Xbox fans. Allowing users to play certain games on their mobile device wherever they have a WiFi connection, the program has been testing very positively – and it’s about to get a lot more widespread.
In a tweet earlier today, Larry Hryb (@majornelson) announced that Project xCloud signups for iOS device users have opened up:
We’ve heard your requests, Apple users. Starting today, we're beginning a limited Project xCloud iOS TestFlight preview ?☁️? Details in this blog post https://t.co/zdSONJRjxs pic.twitter.com/FmOWA5FHPm

I myself have already signed up and can confirm that it’ll be a while before iPhone and iPad users can play, with the confirmation email stating that Xbox will reach out in a month’s time to confirm whether or not users have been chosen to test this first launch. Keep in mind that it is a selective beta launch, meaning not everyone will get a shot in this first wave.
