In a recent article from Gamesindustry.biz, its been revealed that Sony paid a total of $229 million to acquire Insomniac Games. The purchase of Insomniac Games is a followup to the very successful Marvel’s Spider-Man game for PS4. Sony’s purchase of the studio was announced back in August 2019. Lastly, Insomniac has developed many games in their tenure in the industry including Spyro, Ratchet & Clank and Resistance.
