SEGA has released some new information for Yakuza: Like a Dragon! The latest info focuses on Sotenbori Battle Arena and dungeons. Here are the latest details courtesy of Gematsu:
Sotenbori Battle Arena
This battle arena is held underground in Sotenbori. Ichiban will start from the first floor and aim for the very top, the 30th floor. Strong enemies and special rules await him, as well as rewards. Rewards are earned based on how well Ichiban performs in battle. Leveling up from battles is also dependent on how well he performs too. Make sure Ichiban and his party are ready for what’s to come!
Dungeons
In the story, Ichiban and his party must traverse underground dungeons to reach enemy headquarters. These dungeons may be revisited to grind and level up characters as well. Weapons, armor and enemies await in these dungeons, similar to other JRPGs. At times, rare enemies appear.
Rare items and safes may appear in the dungeons. However, safes may act as mimics and hide a tough enemy.
Lastly, dungeon bosses will test Ichiban and his party toward various parts of dungeon progression.
