Sony Interactive Entertainment has filed trademarks for PS6, PS7, PS8, PS9 and PS10 in Japan. It seems silly but Sony is future proofing by securing short names of their consoles for many generations to come. Sony’s upcoming console, the PlayStation 5, releases in 2020. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for more of the latest Japanese gaming news!
