Aladdin (1993) and The Lion King (1994) HD Remasters announced, Coming this October

On the heels of both The Lion King and Aladdin remakes released this year, Disney has announced at a Gamestop event that both the SNES and Genesis versions are getting remakes this October on all major platforms. (PS4, XBO, Switch and PC)

Since then, Publisher Nighthawk Interactive and Developer Digital Eclipse have revealed that both Aladdin and The Lion King will be playable in both original and 1080p resolutions. Physical and Digital copies will be available for $29.99. You’ll also be able to fast forward and rewind as well as the ability to show how to clear the stage. It seems like they omitted the SNES version of Aladdin due to Capcom not being able to obtain the rights from Disney.
