Destiny 2 will launch on Steam on October 1st

Destiny 2 is moving from Battle.net to Steam on October 1st. Players will be able to bring over everything, including in-game purchases. Players will be able to begin linking their accounts on August 20th.

    Announcing Destiny 2 on Steam

As the PC version of Destiny moves to its new home, we’ll be enabling you to move your current characters, gear, collections, and game purchases from Blizzard’s Battle.net to Steam. The process of linking your accounts will begin on August 20. This will give our PC Community plenty of time to get their Guardians sorted and ready for the new launch on October 1.

The move from Battle.net to Steam will include a one-time transfer of ALL Destiny 2 content that a player already owns. These will include Player Accounts, Destiny 2, Expansions, Silver, Annual Pass, etc.

Destiny 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is also coming to Google Stadia.
