In a somewhat under the radar tweet, THQ Nordic has announced that a port of Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition will be hitting the Nintendo Switch on September 26. This comes on the tails of a small rumor that has been circulating the past month in which a foreign rating board listed the game as a Nintendo Switch title.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition, the first game in the popular hack and slash trilogy, was released on the Switch back on April 2 of this year. As War, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, you fight to prove your innocence to the gods and find the one who opened the seventh seal to usher in the apocalypse to earth prematurely.
This second game takes place afterwards, in which a similar story happens and you play as the brother of War – Death.
Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition was originally released in 2015 for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 and is available now at most retailers.
