Continuing on what seems to be a mini direct today when it comes to Nintendo related news, Nintendo Of America just announced on their twitter account that post-apocalyptic RPG, The Outer Worlds is also heading to the Nintendo Switch!
It is, however, important to know that it won’t be launching the same date as other platforms.
The Outer Worlds is a new single-player sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division. As you explore a space colony, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable. It was previously announced for The Epic Game Store, Steam, PS4 and Xbox One and now we can add the Switch to that list.
It is interesting to note that more and more extensive third party games like The Witcher 3 and now The Outer Worlds don’t seem to shy away from Nintendo‘s underpowered hardware and we are all for it. Will you be partaking in Obsidian‘s RPG on the go or are you waiting to see how this port is going to be handled first before biting the bullet ?
