Sega has filed a trademark for “Nights Dream Wheel” in Japan, possibly relating to the classic NiGHTS series. The first game in the NiGHTS series launched on the Sega Saturn in 1996. It was later remastered for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2012. It’s been a while since the last entry in the series titled NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams on the Wii, released back in 2007.
Currently, development of a brand new entry in the series is not known at this time. Sega has stated several times that they are in the process of reviving past IPs. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD and the new Panzer Dragoon remakes are examples of this. Maybe NiGHTS will return in some form.
