If you’ve been looking to try out Gears of War 5 before it releases, your wait will soon be over. The Technical Test that begins in two days is now available to be pre-downloaded. This test is for game pass subscribers and those who pre-ordered to help test the game’s multiplayer.
If you’d like to download, you won’t be looking at a very large download. The PC test is roughly 14.5GB while the Xbox test is only 12.42GB. This plus the ability to pre-download should give you plenty of time to take part.
The test itself will feature three different modes. Those modes are Escalation, Arcade, and King of the Hill with KOTH and Escalations being returning game modes. With all three in mind, you should have plenty to play with and try out over the testing periods.
Speaking of testing periods, there are gonna be two you can take part in over the next two weeks. The first will begin on the 19th and end on the 21st. The second on the other hand, begins on the 26th and ends on the 29th. It’s not a huge amount of time, but you should be able to lend a helping hand and enjoy the game in that time frame.
