TEAM42 has released an updated version of its World of Slime demo, available now on PC via Steam, as part of Steam Next Fest. The update adds a new region, titled Noecheon Village.

Noecheon Mountain is a region where lightning strikes unusually often. Lightning-struck trees and lightning rods are scattered all across the mountain. What adventures await you on this dangerous, unfamiliar mountain?
Deep within Noecheon Mountain lies a village that doesn’t easily open its doors to strangers. Living amid beautiful scenery with a culture all their own, the people of Noecheon Village struggled with frequent lightning strikes until they learned the wisdom of raising lightning rods and harnessing lightning as a source of energy.
Around Noecheon Mountain, you’ll mostly encounter Electric-type and Wind-type slimes. Capture and synthesize the new slimes you meet in Noecheon Village, and continue your fun adventure in the World of Slime!

World of Slime is a casual adventure MMORPG where you explore with your friends. Capture and synthesize chewy, gooey slimes to discover new ones. People in the World of Slime have gathered in villages to stay safe from the wild slimes that suddenly appeared. Players can help people using their special power to capture slimes. Special slimes that have formed a bond with you can move as you wish or help clear obstacles.
