Arc System Works has announced that it will establish a new Tokyo Studio, known as “Takumi,” on November 2. It will specifically be located in Urban Center Shinjuku at 2-5-10 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
The new Arc System Works Tokyo Studio “Takumi” will be used to bolster the main studio’s development capabilities. It will also develop a new fighting game selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry’s (METI) “IP360” project. The project is an initiative which provides large-scale, long-term, and strategic support so that Japan can increase overseas sales of its content to 20 trillion yen by 2033. A recruitment page for the studio is now open.
Arc System Works’ most recent game, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, is available now on PlayStation 5 and PC. It recently revealed that Thor (Jane Foster), Venom, and Jubilee will join Phoenix Cyclops in the Year 1 DLC for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. As for the first character in the DLC, Phoenix Cyclops, he is still on track to release on November 2.
