Sad Cat Studios and Atari has announced that it will release REPLACED on Android devices via the Google Play Games program on December 8. The game is also available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
In a press release, Sad Cat Studios and Atari note that “REPLACED will be part of the Google Play Games program, available on mobile, tablets and PC in a seamless gameplay experience. It is a single purchase with save sync across supported devices and can be pre-registered here.” Check out the trailer revealing REPLACED for Android devices below:
Final Weapon reviewed REPLACED and gave it a 3.5/5. We described it as “a genuinely brilliant cyberpunk platformer. While it occasionally suffers from major glitches, frustrating mechanics, and pacing issues due to the combat, puzzles, and platforming, the gameplay high moments, incredible narrative, and gorgeous presentation more than make up for these issues. If you’re a fan of the cyberpunk genre, then this is an absolute must-play.”
Lastly, the Google Play Store describes the game as follows:
Face the consequences of Phoenix Corporation’s actions through the eyes of its own creation, R.E.A.C.H.—an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body. Navigate a world steeped in corruption, where body parts are traded like currency and humanity withers with every transplanted organ. Confront the Corporation—and the truth behind your creation.
The world of REPLACED is brought to life through a signature 2.5D style: best in class pixel art enhanced by modern depth-of-field, lighting, and cinematic visual effects. Combined with a moody, synth-driven soundtrack, REPLACED delivers a thick, immersive atmosphere that pulls you into a fractured timeline where everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong.
