As previously announced, the DLC introduced the new Limit Breaker Journey solo mode, 33 new playable characters, four new Episode Battles, new Extra Battles, and four all-new stages.

Final Weapon previously reviewed Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO and went over the Switch 2 version’s unique features and crisp visuals in handheld and docked modes. Bandai Namco has recently announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, the long-awaited entry in the successful online action game series by developer Dimps, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2027. Final Weapon previewed the game at Gamescom 2026, praising the visual style and new features.
