Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced that Yuika will perform the opening theme song for Promise Me the Spotlight. Yuika will perform the theme, titled “Nanimono demo nakatta Watashi dakara” (Because I Was No One).
She performed the “Nanimono demo nakatta Watashi dakara” song during her special “Sanvitalia” solo concert on Monday. Jun Wakatsuki launched the Promise Me the Spotlight manga series in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge in 2022 before moving to the Magazine Pocket app in 2023.
Kodansha’s K MANGA service publishes the manga digitally. The sixth compiled book volume will release on July 9. The anime is now in production, though its premiere date is currently unknown. Further, the cast and staff details are also scarce. Bandai Namco Filmworks will likely reveal more about Promise Me the Spotlight at a later date.
