Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World during Tokyo Game Show 2026. The game launches on December 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Windows.
The trailer focuses on the story, training, and battle mechanics that are core to The Withered World‘s gameplay. Players can get a glimpse at the gameplay for themselves via a free demo on all platforms which features the game’s first chapter. Up to eight monsters recruited in the Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World demo can be transferred to the full game.
