YOZAKURA has announced that it will release the upcoming Twilight Pretender visual novel in English and Chinese. The release date for Liar Soft’s new game is unknown, though it will launch for PC via Steam.

The girl who appeared before Hiroto Takenouchi was his ex-girlfriend, Chise Kawamoto—whom he had broken up with just yesterday.
But the “Chise” standing before him was no longer the girl he knew.
Calling herself “Kageko,” she claimed to be a Shapeshifter—an inhuman creature that devours other living beings and assimilates their forms, allowing it to blend seamlessly into human society.
According to Kageko, the real Chise was still alive.
She had been absorbed into Kageko’s body, but rather than being digested, she was being kept alive within her.
Then Kageko made Hiroto an absurd proposition.
“Let me be your girlfriend. Just for a limited time.”
“If you agree, I’ll give Chise back to you.”
And so began a relationship that was never meant to exist.
At first, Hiroto believed it was nothing more than a fake romance, a price he had to pay to get Chise back.
But once they began spending time together, he discovered something unexpected—
Kageko understood him even better than the real Chise ever had.
She remembered his habits, understood his feelings, and stayed by his side whenever he was exhausted.
