The upcoming New Kochikame (Shin Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen-mae Hashutsujo) anime, based on Osamu Akimoto’s Kochikame manga, has announced a 2027 release along with staff and cast details. The manga will celebrate its 50th anniversary this month.

- Fukushi Ochiai as Kankichi Ryōtsu
- Shōta Aoi as Keiichi Nakagawa
- M.A.O as Reiko Akimoto
- Raikō Sakamoto as Daijirō Ōhara

A new game from the franchise, KochiKame: Ryo-san’s Billion-yen Beat is in development with no confirmed release date yet. The Steam version will support English, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese text options.
