TMS Anime has announced that the Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaioh wa Isekai Tensei Shitemo Ikkō ni Kamawan (Baki Side Story – Kaioh Retsu Doesn’t Mind At All If He Gets Reincarnated in Another World) spinoff manga is getting a new TV anime adaptation. A new teaser trailer for the Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaioh anime was also released.
Eiji Mutsui, Keisuke Itagaki, and Daisuke Ihara launched the Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaioh wa Isekai Tensei Shitemo Ikkō ni Kamawan manga in Akita Shoten’s Monthly Shōnen Champion magazine in 2020. The manga focuses on Kenpo-style master Retsu Kaioh, who was reincarnated in another world after being defeated by Musashi Miyamoto.
BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai, the latest anime in the franchise, is streaming on Netflix worldwide.
Chevon performs the opening theme song “MUSASHI,” and J SOUL BROTHERS III performs the ending theme song “KATANA.”
