The staff of the upcoming anime adaptation of Kotobukiya’s Arcanadea bishōjo plastic model series have revealed a new promotional video, main staff members, additional cast members, and the anime’s January 2027 debut.
Newly announced cast members include:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shōgo Kuga
- Konomi Inagaki as Kaho Asagi
- Mai Kanno as Rin Kirinoue
- Moka Kanzaki as Ghi
Kotobukiya is credited with the original work. Keiichirō Kawaguchi, known for his work on Spy Classroom, is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab. Atsuhiro Tomioka is handling the series scripts. Kumoha Arakawa is adapting necömi’s original character designs for animation. Yūki Hayashi and Yūki Furuhashi are composing the music.
Previously announced cast members include Kaede Hondo, who will reprise her role as Lumitea from YuruCanadea, alongside Miho Okasaki, who voices Velretta, and Rina Hidaka, who voices Yukumo.

The “sci-fi x fantasy” franchise takes place in the near future, where the world has experienced rapid technological development thanks to a new energy called “Arcana Particles” that was discovered by Eden Industries. The new technology includes the largest virtual space server called Eden.
The VRMMO “ARCANADEA” is a game people can play within the Eden server, and features a fantasy world. After an explosion occurred at Eden Industries one night during maintenance, the world changed, marked by abnormal weather, communication issues, strange disappearances, and people gaining increased physical abilities.
