Alongside the release of episode 5 of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity (episode 45 overall), the staff of the anime series revealed a new key visual featuring Ichigo’s newest form, Blood Chains. Blood Chains is an original form designed by Bleach series creator Tite Kubo, specifically for Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity.
New episodes of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity release on Saturdays on Hulu and Disney+ (internationally). In Japan, the anime is airing on TV Tokyo and other affiliate networks. This will be the final part of the ongoing Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War anime series.
jo0ji performs the opening theme song “I-BULL” by jo0ji, and 9Lana performs the ending theme song “Rasen.”

Tomohisa Taguchi is the chief director of the anime alongside director Hikaru Murata at studio PIERROT FILMS. Taguchi also handles the script and series compositions alongside Masaki Hiramatsu.
