Netmarble has released version 1.3 of MONGIL: STAR DIVE, which adds a new costume system and 5-star character, Brisshell. The update also includes various quality-of-life improvements.
Brisshell is an Earth-element Assassin that originates from the Void. She is a shy individual who tends to run away when approached, despite her desire to befriend humans. Brisshell fights alongside her friend Alfred in battle, all while harnessing otherworldly powers to attack enemies. The “Attention Overload” state makes her more powerful and allows her to unleash even stronger attacks.
To commemorate her debut, the special event “The Girl from the Void” is available for three weeks. Players can complete missions and event dungeons to collect event currency and earn various rewards, such as Summon Tickets and character growth materials. Netmarble has also released a new Epic Quest, “A Visitor from Afar,” which gives players an opportunity to discover more of Brisshell’s story. The update also introduces the new Costume system, which gives players new ways to enjoy the unique appeal of each character.
Two summer-themed costumes for Ophelia and Jiwon are now available as well. In addition, “Guide Rewards” for new players has been revamped, alongside several quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. Some of the improvements include instant Request reward collection, the addition of Quick Battle to the Dimensional Rift mode, and enhanced benefits for “Oath of the Morning Star.”
Lastly, MONGIL: STAR DIVE is available now on Android via Google Play, iOS via App Store, and PC via Windows (Netmarble Launcher) and Epic Games Store. Netmarble plans to bring MONGIL: STAR DIVE to consoles, including Xbox platforms and PlayStation 5.
