Chaos Zero Nightmare Galactic Disaster Season 4 is Now Live

Smilegate and Super Creative announced that the Galactic Disaster Season 4 “Shattered Light and Claw” update for Chaos Zero Nightmare is now available. Galactic Disaster Season 4 introduces a new story, new Chaos, Combatants, and gameplay through a series of updates. 

Here are the latest details for Chaos Zero Nightmare Galactic Disaster Season 4, courtesy of Smilegate:

The new story follows an adventure to uncover the truth behind a series of disappearances targeting the strategic assets known as “Protos.” During the investigation, the protagonist (the player) encounters “Anis,” another Protos, leading to a thrilling chain of events. In addition, players can explore the new Chaos, Kaleidoscope Hatchery, introduced in the story and obtain character acquisition currency, various Core items, and other growth currency from the Supply Store.

The new Combatant “Hilde” and Partner “Eunie” have also been added. Hilde is an Instinct Attribute “Ranger” Combatant who excels at generating “Homing Arrow” cards into the draw pile to chain extra attacks or support allies’ card draw. Eunie increases the assigned Combatant’s Attack and grants an effect that boosts the damage amount of Extra Attacks when Attack cards of a specific Attribute are generated.

The update also introduces several new systems. Most notably, the “Outfit” system has been added, allowing players to enjoy new appearances, voice lines, and stories for the Combatants they own. With this update, Hilde and Tiphera are the first Combatants to receive Outfits, with additional Outfits for other Combatants planned for future updates.

The “Growth Guide” and “Build Preset” systems have also been added to help players develop their Combatants more efficiently. When a player acquires a new Combatant, the Growth Guide analyzes various progression elements, including the Combatant’s Level, Partner, Potential, and Memory Fragments, to provide personalized guidance. Build Presets let players save their desired Save Data setup in advance, then receive card recommendations during roguelike gameplay to help recreate that build.

Special events celebrating the summer season will also be available. In the “Beach Café Festival” event, running through September 30, players can complete missions through gameplay to earn “Midsummer Night Memories,” which can be exchanged for various rewards, including a Save Data background, Rei’s Outfit, and Stickers. Players can also enjoy a special summer story created exclusively for the event. In addition, to celebrate Hilde’s release, the “Following the Fox’s Footsteps” event will let players discover another side of Hilde’s daily life alongside her Partner, Eunie, while earning rewards such as Crystals and Prism Lenses. Finally, the Season 4 Check-in Event will reward players with character acquisition and growth currency needed for character progression.

Lastly, Chaos Zero Nightmare is available now for Android via Google Play, iOS via App Store, and PC via STOVE.
