UVS Games has released a trailer to showcase its roadmap for UniVersus 2027, including crossovers with SEGA. The new collaborations feature upcoming Challenger Series and Booster Sets “spanning anime, comics, and tabletop gaming” which UVS Games describe as the “most requested and recognizable franchises to ever join UniVersus“.
Challenger Series have been confirmed for Warhammer 40,000, Persona 5 Royal, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Hellboy, as well as a Booster Set each for Critical Role and Invincible.

Zoe McNamara, UVS Games’ VP of Product & Creative, provided a comment about the company’s plans for 2027: “2027 represents one of the most ambitious years we’ve ever planned for UniVersus. From longtime fan requests to partnerships we’ve been excited to pursue for years, this roadmap reflects our commitment to bringing incredible worlds and characters to the table. We’re building for the long term, and players will see even more of that in the months ahead.”
Warhammer 40,000 is joining the game as a part of Warhammer‘s 40th anniversary celebrations. UVS Games and Games Workshop’s collaboration will include a Booster Set, 2-Player Starter Deck, and more. The introduction of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to UniVersus will see Challenger Series releases based on Golden Wind and Stone Ocean. Meanwhile, ATLUS’ Persona 5 Royal content will be introduced through two Challenger Series releases, as will cards based on Mike Mignola’s Hellboy. New Booster Sets centered on Robert Kirkman’s Invincible and Bells Hells from Campaign 3 of Critical Role have also been confirmed.
