Netmarble has released a new 5-star character for MONGIL: STAR DIVE, named Mabel. The character is available now alongside special events and a new story event.
Mabel is a new Lightning Destroyer that serves as an Inquisitor, who is responsible for recording reality and the phenomena therein. She is a faithful and compassionate nun that shows mercy even to her enemies. Even still, she delivers “uncompromising judgment upon those beyond redemption,” according to a press release. In battle, she wields Epigram, a mysterious book that records both matter and magic. Her Ultimate Skill, “Injustice, Exterminate,” summons the divine arbiter from the pages of Epigram to unleash devastating Lightning damage. It also inflicts a Lightning Affliction debuff on enemies.
Alongside her release, the special story event “The Inquisitor’s Day Off” will be available for three weeks. Here, you can learn more about Mabel’s backstory, all while collecting event currency to exchange for summon tickets, character growth materials, and various other rewards. The events “Special Missions with Mabel” and “Inquisitor Mabel’s 7-Day Gifts” are also available. Furthermore, the update adds Epic Quests, which are permanent quests that take place on the world map, in parallel to the main story, and put the spotlight on new and returning characters. These feature new cinematic cutscenes, full voice performances, and unique combat encounters. The first of these, Mabel’s “Reward Virtue, Eliminate Evil” quest, is available now.
Lastly, MONGIL: STAR DIVE is available now on Android via Google Play, iOS via App Store, and PC via Windows (Netmarble Launcher) and Epic Games Store. Netmarble plans to bring MONGIL: STAR DIVE to consoles, including Xbox platforms and PlayStation 5.
