Spike Chunsoft has officially lowered the price of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ Price to $29.99 on Steam. The price revision will apply to other platforms at a later date.
The reason for the price change is currently unknown. The game released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in July 2024. The original game and its DLC are also available now on Nintendo Switch. The Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ Lucid-Noir Edition for Steam launched at $99.99, featuring a printed game code voucher, an collector’s box with artwork by illustrator Rui Komatsuzaki, a SteelBook case, a 6.5-inch Shinigami plush, the Noise of Neon official soundtrack, and a printed copy of How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case novel. While the Lucid-Noir Edition is no longer available, the Digital Deluxe Edition has also received a price revision and now costs $34.99.
