BALL x PIT Reveals Final Free Update ‘The Naturalist’

Devolver Digital and Kenny Sun and Friends have announced that the next free update for BALL x PIT, “The Naturalist,” will be the last. The release date for the update, what it will contain, and whether or not there will be paid content released at a later date, is unknown. 

In a small post, the developers state “We’re back with even more balls in the Naturalist Update – our final free update. More news soon.” Check out the announcement post revealing the logo for “The Naturalist” update of BALL x PIT below:

BALL x PIT is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and it’s also available with Xbox Game Pass. Final Weapon reviewed the game and rated it a 4.5/5. We described it as a “fantastic reinvention of Breakout with a new twist. The game combines concepts from the roguelite genre, farming simulators, and shoot-em-ups. In theory, this blending of elements shouldn’t work, but the game is fantastically addicting thanks to a fun gameplay loop.”
