Activision has revealed that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 open beta will start on August 28 and last until September 1. Those who pre-order the beta will get early access to the beta from August 21-25.
Activision has also revealed that pre-orders for Modern Warfare 4 will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 26. On August 21, before the early access beta, Call of Duty: NEXT will take place. The event will feature live gameplay, a full Multiplayer content briefing, and new reveals ahead of the beta. Pre-orders for the Standard Edition ($69.99) and Vault Edition ($99.99) are now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Vault Edition includes:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will launch on October 23 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Battle.net, and Microsoft Store. Infinity Ward is working with Digital Legends to develop Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Nintendo Switch 2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will support cross-play across all platforms, and the Switch 2 version supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. The Campaign Early Access period for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will begin on October 23. It gives players access to the game’s campaign before the full global launch by pre-ordering the Standard or Vault Editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
