The story of Let’s go KAIKIGUMI focuses on a nameless man who is easily scared of ghosts. When he happens to get involved with the supernatural, he crosses paths with Mechako, a girl who runs with the Kaiki-gumi. The Kaiki-gumi is an organization that polices the supernatural, and Mechako takes in the nameless guy to help her revive Kaiki-gumi to its former glory.
