The anime adaptation of Kyouko Hikawa’s From Far Away (Kanata Kara) has unveiled its release date, a new trailer, and cast and staff members. The information is available through the anime’s official website.

The anime will feature the voices of:
- Tomoyo Kurosawa as Noriko Tachiki
- Kentarō Kumagai as Isaac Kia Taj
- Yūichirō Umehara as Rachev
- Eiji Takeuchi as Kaemos Lee Goda
It has been announced that Noriyuki Abe will be directing From Far Away. Rika Takasugi is in charge of series scripts, Eiji Abiko will serve as character designer, and the composer will be Takeshi Hama. Additionally, Studio DEEN produce the anime. Some of the cast and crew have provided comments that are available on the website.
The From Far Away manga ran from 1991 to 2002 in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine. Hakusensha published the manga’s 14th and final compiled book volume in 2003. Further, the Bunko edition of the manga was published in seven volumes from 2004 to 2005. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English.
