Infigo Games has announced The Colour Beyond: A Zeroth Kind, a new narrative-driven cosmic horror adventure game for PC via Steam. The Colour Beyond: A Zeroth Kind is currently in development with no confirmed release date.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Steam:

The Colour Beyond: A Zeroth Kind is a narrative-driven cosmic horror adventure about investigation, Mind-Intrusion, and the cost of rewriting fate.

After foreseeing your own death, an unknown colour grants you ten more days to live and the power of Mind-Intrusion. When time runs out, will you hold on to your sanity and humanity, or become a living mutation?

Investigate an Island Consumed by an Unknown Colour

Investigate different locations through first-person 2D point-and-click interactions across immersive 360-degree backgrounds. Gather evidence, reconstruct relationships, and uncover buried secrets.

Watch for abnormal changes in the environment: scan your surroundings to see where danger is spreading, then focus on suspicious objects to uncover hidden clues or paths forward.

Intrude into Other Minds

The people of Haidong Island are not mere witnesses or quest targets. Each carries their own fears, desires, guilt, and obsessions, and any one of them can become an entry point for Mind-Intrusion.

You can enter the locals’ mental spaces, read their most immediate and unguarded thoughts, and use the clues you have gathered to guide, alter, or even forcibly implant your will into their minds.

Survive Between Sanity and Mutation

As the investigation deepens, the influence of the unknown colour becomes impossible to escape.

Sanity lets you continue to understand the world through human reason, while mutation grants new senses, new clues, and more powerful means of intervention, bringing you ever closer to the truth.

Every choice that crosses the line comes at a cost. Your judgment may be corrupted, your relationships distorted, and some choices that once belonged to humanity may disappear forever.

Companions, Bonds, and Diverging Fates

Your companions are not entirely reliable allies. They have their own agendas, secrets, fears, and breaking points. Over the course of these ten days, they may become either your strongest support or your most dangerous variable.

You can rely on them to interpret clues, let them take risks in your place, draw close to them, understand them, exploit them, or change them with your own hands.

Beyond the human figures who may become friends or enemies, you must also face a presence beyond human understanding: the “Colour Beyond”. With every decision you make on this journey, you will choose whether to hold on to your human sanity or become part of the “Colour Beyond”.
