Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced ‘Horizon’ Launch Trailer Released

A callback to one of the trailers for the original, just in time for release.

Published:

Ubisoft has officially released Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, alongside a “Horizon” launch trailer commemorating the release. The trailer remakes one of the original pieces of footage for Black Flag in 2013.

Much like the original “Horizon” trailer, this new version focuses on the visuals of Black Flag Resynced. It further demonstrates just how impressive this remake is, as it greatly overhauls the graphics of arguably the most beloved entry in the series. The remake also features new quests, characters, gameplay adjustments, as well as cutscenes that give more development to Blackbeard and other characters. Check out the “Horizon” launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced below:

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Final Weapon reviewed the remake, giving it a 4.5/5. We described it as an “absolutely fantastic remake. Not only does it maintain what made the original so great in the first place, but every new addition only builds upon its foundation, each of which lends itself to a gameplay loop that never gets old and a visual style that frequently had me stunned with awe. Despite some problems here and there, this is still an absolute must-play, regardless of whether you are a new fan of Assassin’s Creed or you’ve been following it since the beginning.”

Lastly, the Steam page describes the game as follows:

Strike fear in your foes as you board and sink enemy vessels as Edward Kenway, captain of the Jackdaw. Whether blending into crowds or leading daring assaults, switch between silent takedowns and fierce brawls as you effortlessly wield swords, pistols, and the Hidden Blade. With a cast of historical pirate legends at your side, defy empires amidst the age-old conflict opposing Assassins and Templars.
