In a statement, Scarlet Moon’s Jayson Napolitano said the following about the new album: “Ghibli is personal for me. I grew up on Nausicaäand Castle in the Sky, and Hisaishi’s music shaped how I hear film scores to this day. There’s something special about the fact that his compositions already feel like lullabies in some ways; Hibino-san and AYAKI bring out that quality in a way that feels like these arrangements were always meant to exist.”
Recently, Fathom Entertainment announced that Studio Ghibli Fest 2026 will continue with My Neighbor Totoro on July 11. It will be available to watch in theaters in both United States and Canada until July 15. Lastly, the other movies being shown are as follows:

- Castle in the Sky – August 22-26
- Princess Mononoke – September 26-30
