A new trailer for Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 was released, confirming that part 2 of the season will premiere in October 2026.
Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 is airing on 28 MBS and TBS networks on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. JST during the “Nichigo” slot. The anime is streaming on Disney Plus and Hulu outside Japan.
Mirai Minato is now the chief director of the anime at SILVER LINK and oversees the series scripts. Takahiro Nakatsugawa directs the anime, and other returning staff members include character designer Mizuki Takahashi, composer Kōji Fujimoto, and sound director Tōru Kanegae.
Sakurazaka46 performs the new opening theme song “What’s ‘KAZOKU’ (What’s ‘Family’).”

Hitsuji Gondaira launched Mission: Yozakura Family in 2019, and Shueisha publishes the manga series on MANGA Plus. Yen Press is also publishing the manga series in print.
