KILL BLUE Anime Continues in Season 2

DMM.com has announced that season 2 of the TV anime adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s KILL BLUE manga series is now in production. To celebrate the announcement of KILL BLUE Season 2, original creator Tadatoshi Fujimaki (Kuroko’s Basketball, ROBOT×LASERBEAM) shared a new hand-drawn illustration depicting protagonist Juzo Ogami with the caption “Season 2 confirmed!!.”

Fujimaki said, “Thanks to all your support, Season 2 has been officially confirmed! Huge thanks to everyone involved in the anime production, and to all the fans who cheered us on along the way. Specific details on the timing and content haven’t been finalized yet, but I’m hoping it’ll be another laid-back, fun-filled KILL BLUE that you can kick back and enjoy, just like Season 1. So please, sit back, relax, and stay tuned!”

What’s more, the “Shonen Jump anime ‘KILL BLUE’ – Special Homeroom -” panel will be held on Friday, July 3 at 12:00 p.m. PT during Anime Expo 2026 in the Platinum Ballroom at the JW Marriott L.A. Live.

KILL BLUE is streaming on Crunchyroll, the It’s Anime YouTube Channel, Amazon Prime Video, and several other streaming services (access will vary per region).

aespa performs the opening theme song “ATTITUDE,” and RIIZE performs the ending theme song “KILL SHOT.” 

The cast of the anime includes:

  • Shinsuke Takeuchi as protagonist Juzo Ogami in his adult form

Hiro Kaburagi is the director of the KILL BLUE anime. What’s more, Miho Daidōji is the character designer, and CUE is producing the animation.
