Netmarble has released a new update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, which commemorates the game’s 100-day anniversary. The update adds a new character, in the form of Elizabeth, alongside several new events.
Elizabeth is a support-type hero that reflects her healer concept from the original series. She can use a variety of weapons, such as Grimoire, Staff, and Wand. Each offers different support abilities in battle. When using Grimoire, she can reduce enemies’ defense while restoring allies’ HP and increasing their defense. When equipped with Staff, Elizabeth can strengthen the normal attacks of Wind-type allies specifically, while reducing the magic cost required for allies’ ultimate skills. Finally, with Wand, she can reset the cooldown of all team members’ normal skills when Earth Burst is activated.
Alongside her debut, a new exclusive Weapon Skin “Forbidden Tome Solvire” and Outfit Skin “The Princess Who Regained Her Memory” are available to be wielded by her. In addition, players can take part in Hero Pick-Up events to obtain Elizabeth, alongside Escanor. Other new content has been added, such as a new feature that allows players to acquire certain heroes based on their story progression. A new summer-themed story event “A Midsummer Day’s Dream” is now available as well. Further, a check-in event is now live until July 15, and grants 100 Regular Hero Draw Tickets. In addition, the update adds a revamp to the mining system, a new limited time minigame, and the “Gotcha! The Scurry Squad Expedition” event.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Google Play Games.
