The Fledgling Demon Lord’s Starter Shop Manga Gets Anime Adaptation in January 2027

A new official website was opened to announce that Makoto Morishita’s The Fledgling Demon Lord’s Starter Shop (Sudachi no Maōjō) manga will be getting an anime adaptation in January 2027. The website revealed a teaser video, key visual and the cast and staff members.

The cast members for the anime include Reiji Kawashima as Murabito (Villager) and Rumi Ōkubo as Mao. Jun Hira is directing the anime at project No.9. Keiichirō Ōchi is handling the series scripts, and Katsuyuki Sato is designing the characters.

Morishita first launched the manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in October 2021, and Kodansha publishes the series in English. Kodansha shipped the 12th compiled book volume on January 16.
