SEGA has announced a collaboration with video game-inspired merch company The Yetee. The collaboration begins today with apparel themed around Jet Set Radio, available now to order.
Two shirts are available, one of which featuring DJ Professor K titled “Class is in Session,” and a Jet Set Radio Future T-shirt titled “Don’t Stop the Beat.” Both of which cost $32, while a keychain titled “Tokyo-to Tag” is available for $12. More apparel based on other SEGA properties will release at a later date. As a reminder, a new Jet Set Radio game is currently in development at SEGA.
SEGA described the new game as “counter-culture” with a Tokyo street open world. The game will encourage fans to “experience the ‘rebellion’ movement that feels free in a suffocating society. Make friends, increase your fans, and create a movement!” It was initially announced as part of SEGA’s initiative to release new entries in franchises that haven’t received new games in years. Another game part of said initiative, Crazy Taxi: World Tour, will release in 2027. Lastly, the Steam page describes Crazy Taxi: World Tour as follows:
It’s time for crazy driving, crazy adventure, and crazy money! Crazy Taxi is back and going global!
In this new high-octane adventure, follow Axel as he chases down the mysterious masked villains who stole his beloved taxi. Tackle extreme missions around the world all while earning some CRAZY money!
