Disney Sparklink Stars Mobile Game Announced

Disney and Coly have announced a new mobile game titled Disney Sparklink Stars, with pre-registration available now. Details about the game are currently scarce.

According to a translation, the story is as follows “Sparkle Islands – Luminoustair. A futuristic city where every spark of excitement in people’s hearts turns into a touch of magic. Here, the Spark Riders bring you sparkling stages filled with dreams and wishes.” More details about the game are available via its website. Coly has also worked on games such as BREAK MY CASE, Promise of Wizard, &0, and Stand My Heroes.

Recently, Disney, Atari, and Digital Eclipse announced Toy Story: Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3: Complete Edition, both of which will release on October 15. The double-pack compiles every single Toy Story game ever released, alongside A Bug’s Life for the PlayStation 1 and Game Boy Color. The collection will include the following:

  • Toy Story (1995, Sega Genesis, SNES, Game Boy)
  • Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999, Playstation 1)
  • Toy Story 2 (1999, Game Boy Color)
  • Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000, PlayStation 1, Game Boy Color)
  • Toy Story Racer (2001, PlayStation 1, Game Boy Color)
  • A Bug’s Life (1998, PlayStation 1, Game Boy Color)

It also includes a remastered version of Toy Story 3, which released in 2010, as well as a virtual museum. The latter includes rare design documents, development images, and behind-the-scenes videos featuring Jason Katz – Head of Story, Pixar, Jim Hanks – Voice Actor, Luigi Priore – VP and GM, Disney & Pixar Games, and Jon Burton – Founder, TT Games. The collection will release physically on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for $40. On Nintendo Switch 2, it costs $50. It will also be available digitally on the platforms above, as well as PC via Steam.
