Nintendo has released a new gameplay overview trailer for Splatoon Raiders, which will release on July 23 for Nintendo Switch 2. The trailer showcases more of what fans can expect from the first single-player focused entry in the series.

The new Splatoon Raiders trailer shows off some of the gameplay and action for the upcoming game. Additionally, a Nintendo Direct themed around Splatoon Raiders will take place on June 30. Check out the gameplay overview trailer for Splatoon Raiders below:

Splatoon Raiders is now available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop. The listing confirms that it will cost $49.99 digitally and $59.99 physically. The game will include multiplayer with up to three other players online or via local wireless. The store page describes the game as follows:

In this single-player-focused adventure, play as a mechanic working with Deep Cut—a trio of swashbuckling musicians—and venture out into the mysterious Spirhalite Islands!

Customize your character, kit yourself out with mechanical gadgets and ink-splattering weapons, and take on waves of enemy Salmonids as you raid the islands for treasure.

It’s not just you out there, though. One member of Deep Cut will raid alongside you in a powerful bot. You can also join with up to three other players online or via local wireless.

Splatoon 3, the latest entry in the franchise, is available now on Nintendo Switch. A proper Splatoon 4 will likely release in the coming years. Lastly, the Nintendo eShop describes Splatoon 3 as follows:

Enter 4-on-4 ink-slinging battles in this colorful action shooter packed with style and attitude. As a squid-like Inkling, quickly cover your surroundings (and opponents) in ink with wild weaponry and swim through your own color to sneak and splat. Dive into the fresh fun with family and friends and make waves as a team. Get splatted by an opponent? No sweat! The goal in Turf War is to cover the most ground, so respawn and jump back into the inky action.
