Arc System Works has released River City Saga: Journey to the West for $19.99 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Based on one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature, River City Saga: Journey to the West is a new roguelike action game that’s built for solo players to enjoy and replay, growing stronger with each run.
The game’s official website is also live with an overview of River City Saga: Journey to the West‘s story, gameplay systems, and characters. The characters include Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing, Tang Sanzang, Erlang Shen, Maitreya, Chang’e, Avalokiteśvara, Nezha, Golden Horned King, Silver Horned King, Buddha, and Bull Demon King.
