Duet Night Abyss ‘Silver Torrent, Rising Star’ Update Launches June 2

Hero Games and Pan Studio have announced that the “Silver Torrent, Rising Star” update for Duet Night Abyss will launch on June 2. The update will bring two new playable heroes, all-new gameplay elements, and a “dark new story chapter” to the combat fantasy RPG. 

The mysterious noblewoman Flora and her personal maid Hilda will both join the playable roster as dark Umbro and powerful Pyro wielders, respectively. The protagonist Phoxhunter will also awaken a new Umbro form that alters their appearance and abilities. There will also be six new weapons, including the melee-focused polearm “Perpetual Strife” and “Firearm Feast” grenade launcher.

The new “Silver Torrent, Rising Star” update will continue the story of Duet Night Abyss, taking players back to the city of Icelake. Players can explore the “Flodia Bloomfield Station,” which has a distinct Victorian steampunk aesthetic that stretches from common passenger carriages to luxurious first-class cabins. 

There will also be a variety of rewards to obtain, including a selectable character and weapon gift boxes for free. The “Beyond the Cage” and “Days of Tranquillity” login events and the event-exclusive “Pulse of the Empire” will also be available. The Luno’s Rail Rumpus co-op event, the “Starry Gleanings” event, and Return to Atlasia events will also offer great rewards for new and returning players alike. 

The following improvements will also be made:

• Guild System: Allowing players to gather companions, easy team formation, and cooperative multiplayer.
• Asynchronous Co-op: “The Immersive Theatre: Ensemble Act” lets friends and Guild members tackle dungeons without needing to be online at the same time.
• Forge Calamity Weapons: Starting during the “Abyss Expedition” event, players can use specific blueprints to forge Calamity Weapons to unlock their unique abilities.
• Artistic Upgrades: Visual improvements to Purgatorio and Icelake, giving them more realistic details and lighting.
