Skybound Games and Quarter Up have revealed updates to the Invincible VS Deluxe Edition and skin prices following post-launch player feedback. Going forward, the Invincible VS Deluxe Edition will also offer the Breakout and C.O.P skins for Conquest and Allen the Alien with 4 color variants each. The prices for Conquest’s Breakout skin and Ella Mental’s Diamond skin (+ 4 color variants) were both reduced from $9.99 to $4.99 as well. Players who purchased the Invincible VS Deluxe Edition and the latter two skins will receive a partial refund on their respective platform, which can take several days to fully process.
Invincible VS launched on April 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Steam. Final Weapon reviewed Invincible VS and gave it a 4/5 score, noting the game is “a fantastic experience, regardless of whether or not you’re a fan of the fighting game genre and the original series. While the limited roster and bare bones story mode are disappointing, the satisfying gameplay, rich mechanical systems, numerous single-player and multiplayer options, and brilliant netcode will hook you right from the start.”
The launch roster of Invincible VS now includes Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Thula, Rex Splode, Battle Beast, Omni-Man, Cecil Stedman, Robot, Monster Girl, Ella Mental, Lucan, Anissa, Powerplex, Dupli-Kate, Allen the Alien, Titan, and Conquest. Universa and The Immortal will be available as DLC characters with the Year 1 Character Pass.
Based on the Invincible comic book and animated series, Invincible VS is a 3v3 tag fighter with many fan-favorite characters. The Invincible VS team is led by some of the developers behind of the 2013 Killer Instinct game.
