Aniplex has released a new trailer for Puella Magi Madoka Magica -Walpurgisnacht: Rising- anime film and revealed two new cast members. The new cast members are Shion Wakayama as Shichōka and Tomoyo Kurosawa as Selma Therese.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-will open on August 28 in theaters in Japan. Previously, the film was delayed from its original February 2026 release timing to an unannounced date due to “production circumstances.”
